Rush Hour Crash on Green Bay Road Sends Multiple Drivers to Hospitals, Citations Issued

Somers, WI (WLIP)–A four-vehicle collision during rush hour on Green Bay Road near Highway KR in Somers sent several motorists to the hospital Monday evening.

The accident occurred at 5:17 p.m. when a sedan rear-ended an SUV, causing a chain reaction.

Emergency personnel, including numerous fire and rescue units, responded to the scene.

The driver of the sedan was cited for inattentive driving, while another driver received multiple citations for seat belt violations and operating without insurance.

Several motorists were taken to hospitals in Racine and Pleasant Prairie as a precaution.
