Pedestrian Struck by Metra Train in Kenosha, Investigation Underway

Kenosha, WI (WLIP)–The Kenosha Police Department is investigating an accident involving a southbound Metra train and a pedestrian near the 6800 block of the Union Pacific North Line.

The incident occurred at approximately 12:17 P.M., with about 20 passengers on board; no passenger injuries have been reported.

Metra train services will experience temporary disruptions as authorities work to determine the cause of the accident.
