PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wis. (WLIP)— A high-speed police pursuit in the early hours of Thursday morning resulted in the arrest of a 21-year-old Zion, Ill., man.

The chase began around 2 a.m. when Kenosha police terminated a pursuit of a reckless vehicle that continued into Pleasant Prairie.

Pleasant Prairie officers located the vehicle, initiating a pursuit that lasted approximately four miles and reached speeds exceeding 115 mph.

The driver surrendered after officers closed in and safely blocked the vehicle.

The suspect faces multiple charges, including felony Fleeing/Eluding an Officer and four counts of Second-Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, along with several traffic violations.

Assisting agencies included the Kenosha Police Department, Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department, and Wisconsin State Patrol.
